The Lord's Prayer is with lots of depth, and we can easily come into the habit of running past it and not letting it do its work in our hearts. What and how can we really mean that God's will would be done on earth as it is in heaven? We all know that Heaven is perfect as is God's will, so no matter what our own wants are or how we think things should work out, God's plan is beyond ours. If we don't line up our will with His, we are saying God is not perfect. So, we search God (His word) and His heart and always lay down our will to His. Because what is our life without Him? Jesus didn't want to die on the cross, but He submitted and said that His Father's will be done. “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39
